Premier League Matchday 32 Recap (2025/26)

Full Results (Matchday 32) West Ham 4–0 Wolves Arsenal 1–2  Bournemouth Brentford 2–2 Everton Burnley 0–2  Brighton  Liverpool 2–0  Fulham  Crystal Palace 2–1  Newcastle  Nottingham Forest 1–1 Aston Villa Sunderland 1–0  Tottenham  Chelsea 0–3 Manchester City Manchester United 1–2 Leeds  Game of the Matchday   Brentford 2 –2 Everton The Gtech Community Stadium was once again the playground to a matchday's most entertaining game. Brentford and Everton shared the points in a high-octane 2-2 draw that leaves them both still in the fight for European spots. Keith Andrew’s side looked to have things under control when Igor Thiago continued his ridiculous scoring form against the Toffees this season, having scored a hat-trick in the reverse fixture, and following it up with a brace this time around. However, Everton’s resilience under David Moyes is becoming a trademark, a...

Premier League Matchday 18 Recap (2025/26)

Full Results (Matchday 18) Manchester United 1–0  Newcastle Nottingham Forest 1–2  Manchester City Arsenal 2–1  Brighton Brentford 4–1  Bournemouth Burnley 0–0 Everton Liverpool 2–1  Wolves West Ham 0–1 Fulham Chelsea 1–2  Aston Villa Sunderland 1–1 Leeds Crystal Palace 0–1  Tottenham Game of the Matchday   Chelsea 1 –2 Aston Villa For 45 minutes, Chelsea actually looked like the team with a plan. They controlled the tempo, Joao Pedro kept drifting into dangerous pockets, and Aston Villa were strangely flat, almost a throwback to their early-season selves. But this Villa side has learned the most valuable habit in football: winning even when they’re nowhere near their best. They didn’t register a single shot in the first half, yet the moment Unai Emery finally rolled the dice and introduced Ollie Watkins, the entire game flipped on its head. What followed was a ruthless lesson in efficiency. Chelsea had...

Premier League Matchday 17 Recap (2025/26)

Full Results (Matchday 17) Newcastle 2–2  Chelsea Bournemouth 1–1 Burnley Brighton 0–0  Sunderland  Manchester City 3–0  West Ham Wolves 0–2 Brentford Tottenham 1–2 Liverpool Everton 0–1 Arsenal Leeds 4–1  Crystal Palace Aston Villa 2–1 Manchester United Fulham 1–0  Nottingham Forest Game of the Matchday   Tottenham 1 –2 Liverpool Two of the traditional 'Big 6' met this matchday, where Liverpool squeezed past Tottenham with a 2-1 win in a chaotic game. It was high-energy from the first whistle. Though it got tricky for Spurs as Xavi Simons was shown a red card before halftime. Coming on for the injured Conor Bradley after the break, Alexander Isak broke the deadlock with a great finish before he himself unfortunately had to go off with a nasty injury. Hugo Ekitike doubled the lead soon after, making it five goals in just three games for him. Richarlison managed to pull one back late to make things tense, but ...

Premier League Matchday 16 Recap (2025/26)

Full Results (Matchday 16) Chelsea 2–0  Everton Liverpool 2–0 Brighton Burnley 2–3 Fulham Arsenal 2–1 Wolves Crystal Palace 0–3  Manchester City Nottingham Forest 3–0  Tottenham Sunderland 1–0  Newcastle West Ham 2–3  Aston Villa Brentford 1–1 Leeds Manchester United 4–4  Bournemouth Game of the Matchday   Manchester United 4 –4 Bournemouth What a game at Old Trafford! Manchester United and Bournemouth put on a highly entertaining 4–4 scoreline with some quality football displayed. United started sharply through Amad Diallo, then Antoine Semenyo punished one mistake to make it level before Casemiro ghosted in at the back post to make sure United had the lead at half-time. Bournemouth then came flying out after the break to flip the game on its head. Evanilson’s equaliser and Marcus Tavernier’s free kick and had United wobbling, only for Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha to seemingly restore their lead with two goal...

Premier League Matchday 15 Recap (2025/26)

Full Results (Matchday 15) Aston Villa 2–1  Arsenal Bournemouth 0–0 Chelsea Everton 3–0  Nottingham Forest Manchester City 3–0  Sunderland Newcastle 2–1 Burnley Tottenham 2–0 Brentford Leeds 3–3 Liverpool  Brighton 1–1  West Ham Fulham 1–2 Crystal Palace Wolves 1–4  Manchester United Game of the Matchday   Leeds 3 –3 Liverpool There are some games where one half of a game can be more entertaining than the entire two halves of another game. That was the case at Elland Road, if you skipped the first half, you missed nothing. But if you skipped the second, you missed everything. Nobody expected what came after the restart, with six goals flying in and momentum swinging every couple of minutes. Liverpool struck twice quickly in two minutes through Hugo Ekitike and looked like they had finally put the game to bed, but Leeds United, riding the belief from their win over Chelsea, did not bow. Dominic Calvert-Lewin ...
